LVF is run by a small team of dedicated volunteers. Each event takes about 100 hours of our collective time, and much of our marketing, content preparation, event organising and administrative work is done by our volunteers.
If you’ve benefited from the events we’ve run and would like to give back, please consider making a donation via the above donation button (which will take you to our BuyMeaCoffee page), or by donating via our ticketing platform when you book a ticket for one of our events.

Funds go towards our current operational costs, including:
- £2 per month for an expansion of our Google Drive;
- £3.40 per month for developing and maintaining our website;
- £13 per month for our Mailerlite account (allowing us to email members);
- £25 per year for maintaining our website;
- £15 per month for Teams business (for webinars);
- Occasional transport costs for guest speakers/volunteers.
We’d also like to fundraise for future aspirations, including:
- £68 per month for a Slack Pro account (this is the communication platform we use to organise our team, and costs for Slack Pro would break down to £6.80 per user per month and we have 10 committee members);
- £65 for registration with Companies House as a Community Interest Company (once-off cost);
- £84 per year for a WordPress annual plan, so we can improve our website;
- Extraneous costs associated with venue bookings and venue catering.
